Water level apparatus

Details:

Product: Water Level Apparatus (Communicating Vessels)

Dimensions: 20 cm x 14 cm

Measurement Type: Fluid statics / hydrostatic pressure demonstration

• The Water Level Apparatus is a physics educational tool that I use to show hydrostatic pressure principles and the basic law of communicating vessels.
• The Water Level Apparatus is built from clear high‑quality glass tubes that sit on a sturdy wooden base with black support clamps.
• The Water Level Apparatus has a set of tubes of shapes such as a wide cylinder, a wavy S‑shaped tube, a tube that has spherical bulbs and a simple vertical narrow tube.
• Whenever I pour liquid into any one of these tubes the Water Level Apparatus sends the liquid through a shared manifold until the liquid reaches the same height in every tube no matter what shape or size each tube is.
• The Water Level Apparatus gives a visual display of fluid equilibrium, for physics and science classrooms.
